Hosting Policies of LRZone

LRZone provides service to many clients and has a responsibility to those clients to provide the best service possible. The following guidelines will be used to ensure that this happens. LRZone expects you as a customer to abide by these policies and if you feel any of these policies detracts from the service LRZone performs you may cancel your account.

All services provided by LRZone must be used for lawful purpose only. All United States Federal, State and local City laws apply to the material that is displayed on, download from, uploaded to, and generally associated with your account. This will include but will not be limited to copyrighted material, obscene material, or any protected material. By subcribing to LRZone you are stating that you have read these policies and will abide by them and that you will hold LRZone at no fault from any claims resulting in use of LRZone's services. No Warez sites or links to or advertisement of such sites are allowed. Any pornography, or sex related merchandising is prohibited on any LRZone server. This will include but is not limited to sex related text, links or reference that LRZone deems inappropriate. In all cases, LRZone has the final decision.

Charging:

Setup: If we issue the account on or before the 17th of the month we must charge the full monthly charge. If the account is issued between the 18th and the end of the month, the first month will be prorated. However I do still require a two full month payment made before I will setup the account. The prorated amount would then be used on your third month's bill. Any returned checks are subject to a $25.00 returned check charge.

Cancel: When you cancel, you MUST cancel your account by the 25th of the month to avoid being charged for the following month. You will always pay for the entire month in which you cancel. Cancellation is regarded as the following: You MUST submit a cancellation via the removal form.

Transfer Rates:

LRZone offers unlimited web traffic to its customers. Web traffic is considered as any text or graphic transferred from your web site. Any files downloaded will be classified as FTP traffic. Any customer using 20% or more of the system will be charged additional amounts. Examples of accounts that do not qualify for unlimited transfer are:

Sites housing multiple directories with unrelated information.
Sites with more than one main page.
Multiple hosts resolving at an IP or domain name that we provide.
Sites with banners, graphics, or CGI's running from their domain used on other domains.
Sites with graphic archives or galleries.
Sites offering download archives, such as .zip, .tar, .ra and .GZ.
Sites using more than 20% of system resources.

For those that do not qualify for the unlimited service, traffic will go unmonitored until you reach 3GB. Thereafter, normal data transfer cost of 5.00/100MB will apply.

Chats:

Customers will not be permitted to install their own chat scripts into their cgi-bin directory. Chat's take away system resources from other clients and unfortunately we cannot allow this on the server. LRZone does have a Java chatroom for an extra charge that should fulfill your needs without hindering the system for others.

IRC:
We currently do not allow IRC or IRC bots to be operated on our servers.

Multiple users within a domain:

If you wish to house any additional accounts from your account you may do so. However by doing so, you forfeit your unlimited transfer rate feature of your account. You will have 3GB of transfer allowed per month. There will be a charge of $5.00 per 100MB after you exceed your 3GB maximum.

Background processes:

LRZone may allow processes to run continuously in the background, however these will be considered on an individual need basis only. There will be an extra charge based on the system resources and any maintenance.

Email Advertising:

Sending of unsolicited email from any LRZone server or using an email address that is maintained by LRZone is PROHIBITED!! Do not put us in the awkward position of having to contact you on this matter. We do not allow spamming or misuse of our mailing lists. The mail list is set up as a business tool and should be used as such.

Server:

Any attempts to cause harm to a LRZone server or customer of LRZone is not allowed and will result in immediate account termination.

LRZone will be the sole decision on any matter discussed above. LRZone reserves the right to terminate any account without notice if it deems that any rule and regulation stated above has been violated.
